Let’s be honest - whichever person goes through the effort of slicing their strawberries for a homemade meal for themselves obviously has their life together. For those of us who do not fall into that category, we have conveniently prepared a bag of pre-sliced freeze-dried strawberries for you.

ANTIOXIDANT

Freeze-dried fruits are increasingly recognized for their antioxidant benefits due to their ability to retain high levels of bioactive compounds during the preservation process. Unlike conventional drying methods, freeze-drying minimally impacts the phytochemical content, such as phenolic acids, flavonoids, and vitamins like Vitamin C and β-carotene, which are responsible for antioxidant activity.

VITAMIN C

So contrary to dried fruits, freeze drying removes up to 99% of the moisture. And the result is a crispy, light, airy shell of the fresh version of the fruit. Which is why this technique preserves 90% of the fiber, vitamins and minerals of fresh fruit.

SUGAR

Many customers worry about the concentrated natural sugars in air-dried fruits, which become more intense as the fruit shrinks significantly during the drying process. Freeze-dried fruits offer a solution to this concern. They retain much of their original size, shrinking by only about 6%, which helps maintain a lower sugar density compared to air-dried fruits.
